Part Three

After the X-Files panel I could have stayed to watch Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica on the IGN Theater screen or take a quick walk around the Javits Center before the show closed.

If I wasn't driving all the way back to Long Island that night I probably would have watched the shows in the theater.

Next year looking over the date of the convention, February 6th - 8th 2009, and the date of the school winter break I could probably arrange my schedule to be in the city that whole weekend. This year it didn't work out that way so hanging out and watching stuff that would be on my TIVO didn't make much sense.

And I hadn't even made it up to the main hall of the convention yet so I took a quick walk around to take some pictures of the displays before I had to get back on the road.

The big green dude will be back this summer!
Maybe the film-makers tossed out the CGI in favor of a pissed-off Herb Trimpe? Save some budget cash and at the same time the monster is more realistic!
