Captain Phil's Classic Adventures

Welcome to my Science Fiction Convention History and discussion page!
I've been attending Science Fiction conventions since 1984 at a small convention called ICON in Stony Brook, New York. Since then I've attended many more from small "relaxacons" to huge Worldcons. I've been to Science Fiction and Horror Media shows and Literary conventions which focused on one author

From this page I'll list those conventions I've attended over the years plus the ones I plan on attending

From here I'll be linking photos from the conventions I've attended and linking to my MP3/Podcast reviews of those events. I'll even try to do a couple of interviews with some of the guests. Also look for some audio content of these conventions, either panel discussions or speeches. These are presented for Science Fiction Historians, enthusiasts and the curious.

Captain Phil's Classic Convention reviews

Classic convention reviews, pictures, and audio.
This section will cover those conventions I attended prior to this site going online. In some cases I just have the old convention program some snapshots and my memory. Others I have extensive material which I'm trying to get organized. Understandably this will take some time!
