Part Two Larry Storch
Super Mega Show regular Larry Storch was up next with his collection of voices and stories of the old days. He told a bunch of great old jokes, always tettering on the verge of being politically incorrect but staying within the area of good taste. He re-told the story of how he got the job on F-Troop, the show he is best remembered for even though I'll always remember him for a The Ghost Busters, the live action Saturday Morning kids show he did with Forresr Tucker and Bob Burns in a Gorilla suit
I had the opportunity to ask him about Married With Children, the episode called, Something Larry This Way Comes in which Larry Storch (Played by Larry Storch) is beautiful Kelly's acting teacher. I love this type of recursive comedy where our real world actors come into the next decades sitcom world plotlines. It was terrific writing, the sort you see all the time on The Simpsons, Futurama and 30 Rock. Larry said it was a tough part to play because he had no voice or character to hide behind, he was playing himself and it made him feel very uncomfortable. He also praised the cast of Married With Children as wonderful to work with.
