Part Three Nancy Allen
Next up was the beautiful actress Nancy Allen who has a bunch of terrific genre credits starting with Carrie, Strange Invanders, The Philadelphia Experiment, Robocop 1, 2 and 3. In addition to that she was also in one of the first films I ever saw at a Sci Fi convention back in 1984, Terror in the Aisles
and the Brian DePalma films Dressed to Kill and Blow Out.

This was a wonderful opportunity and one of the big reasons why I love this show. I asked Nancy about her work in Carrie and what it was like to play just a good looking bad girl, she said the scene where the gym teacher slaps her was done over 20 times! I also talked to her about The Philadelphia Experiment and Strange Invaders both of which she remembered fondly, the weirder experience being Strange Invaders. She loved the script for Philadelphia Experiment.
She also had a few stories about Robocop director Paul Verhoven being inpatient with problems with the Robocop suit. He just wanted to get back to shooting the movie! Her talk at this show really made my day I was pretty much a drooling fanboy throughout this talk!
